I wrestled with myself for about 18 months before I bought the Hottscan HS-1. My contact, Mr. Jacob, predicted at the beginning that I would buy the device sooner or later, and he was right. Not every energy consultant needs this device, of course. But anyone dealing with more demanding tasks in existing buildings will currently find nothing better for these needs. I had also tried various other options in practice. Now, after two weeks, I no longer know how it would work without it.
